About Sara

Sarah Barnes is from Memphis, TN, where she lives with her husband, Beck. She works in Marketing at ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Sarah and Beck struggled with unexplained infertility and endured 2.5 years of IVF, which included recurrent pregnancy loss. During that time, Sarah was able to successfully advocate for fertility coverage at her workplace, which became effective in January 2021. She is also an active member of Tennessee Fertility Advocates, promoting family-friendly legislation and fertility coverage in the state of TN. Sarah is an avid runner, loves traveling with her husband and spends lots of time being Auntie Rah to 12 nieces and nephews.
